Basque Country
On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of INSEAD's 7th Promotion (Promo66), and following a formal reunion in Fontainebleau on Oct 22nd, headed by Rolf Qvenild, a trip was organized by Philippe Blanc to the Basque Country (map on the left), both on the French and the Spanish side, with the help of Juan Galatas. It took place from Oct 23rd to Oct 27th.

Monday morning was dedicated to the Basque Country with Sare and Zugarramurdi, village of the witches . Monday afternoon we visited St Jean de Luz with a light rain. An excellent dinner was served at Albert's in Biarritz. Tuesday a superb walk along Biarritz's beach refreshed everybody, ending at the Llbarritz Golf Club. Hotel du Palais gave us the opportunity to enjoy dinner in a prestigious environment. Wednesday: Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum. We later discovered San Sebastian with a magnificent dinner organized by Juan Galatas in his gastronomy club.
